MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY

To become a member of the National Capital Area Locksmith Institute candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Student membership candidates must be currently enrolled in the locksmith course at Prince George’s Community College (PGCC).

  • Regular membership candidates must meet one of the following:

    • A former student who completed the locksmith course at PGCC;

    • Actively working as a locksmith or as an owner or member of a locksmithing company;

    • Actively working as a manufacturer’s or distributor’s representative; or

    • A former or retired locksmith or hardware industry owner/representative/employee.

  • All candidates must pass a background check. To obtain the necessary forms please email trades@pgcc.com.

  • The fee for the background screening is $85.00.

  • Once a candidate passes screening they will be eligible to become a member of NCALI and the $85.00 screening fee will cover the current years membership dues.
